Steps to help

One of the best things to do in the Christian community is to talk.  Having a conversation with a victim or just being open to listening. 

Allowing small groups to have open conversations about sexual and domestic violence. Being able to allow a support group to meet once or twice a week. 

Allowing trained professionals to come and speak on these topics that will help give guidance and resources for victims. 

1 Corinthians 6: 19-20 states, " What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy  Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's."

You are not what happened to you and are worth more than anyone could ever explain. The past does not define you and asking for help is okay. You are bought with a price and your body is holy. God is always there and will never leave you.
